Style: American Buffet On Friday, My professor in my research course took us to the Marriott for lunch. While I was pleased that our professor would take us out (at the expense of U of A, thus the saying, "There is no such thing as a free lunch"), I found that the buffet was suprisingly bland, especially considering the cost, a whopping $10.95. I had tried two of the three entrees at the buffet, but both seemed something I could quickly whip up in my own kitchen, and the soup was something I could have gotten at Mary's Lucky Dollar. Overall, I was very unimpressed with the quality of food at the buffet. While far from a critic, I know what I like and this was not good, I would much have gone to Gandhi's, a great Indian buffet a couple miles North of campus. I compare the quality of food to Bonanza, which by the way had at one time made my sister sick, but I am not going to go so far as to insinuate... I rank them two galaxies because of the Marriott name may bring some to consider you as having money and their fountain pop had the best concentration of syrup/water since my time at Saint John's Refectory which helped it from being one of the worst food experiences I have had since I have been in Tucson.

Don't like the draconian restrictions? Talk to someone who cares because you probably weren't breastfed enough as a child.
