Post details: Cashing in Before the Screenwriters Arrive07/05/05Cashing in Before the Screenwriters Arrive
Genre: Action One would imagine that I would have learned from Sum of All Fears that Ben Affleck does not have a loving agent to tell him when not to do a movie. However, I have a slow learning curve and therefore watched this when waiting for a buddy of mine to get off work so we could finally go out. I was instantly amazed about the acting. I find the acting in this movie to be forced and overplayed. I always wonder how these screenplays are accepted. With the millions of screenplays that come through Hollywood every year, there must be enough to keep scripts like this on the shelf or in the garbage. Curiously, I found myself unable to stop watching due to wondering why I should care that Ben Affleck sent himself mundane items so he could cash that stupid lottery ticket in the end. Of course one should note that any birds that shit so little to leave a perfectly clean newspaper after a week need serious medical attention because they are probably dead. Overall, I rate this movie 1 Galaxy out of 5. It gets 1 due to the fact that it did not include a scene worse than Ben Affleck running through a fire in Sum of All Fears. God, I hate that fucking movie so bad. Note to all: Tom Clancy books are bad, his movies are worse, topped only by John Grisham novels and subsequent movies. Save the world and stop paying to go see them! Now!
